New Year’s Eve for Top London Doctors, Nurses & Medical researchers at Altitude 360°.
Since opening on September 7th 2007, Altitude 360° has hosted prestigious events for numerous corporate companies, all enjoying Altitude’s luxurious surroundings, five star hospitality, and unrivalled views.
Once again, Altitude decided to give something back to the local community on a very special evening of the year. For New Year’s Eve we invited Doctors, Nurses and Medical researchers from our local hospitals and hosted a party for them. The Life Saving Doctors, Nurses and research staff from London’s Top Hospitals were invited to celebrate the start of 2009 at Altitude.
Altitude arranged for Salt and Pepper Private Food Design to supply a sequence of culinary delights, including exquisite canapés, a gourmet international buffet, and a special New Year breakfast for all to enjoy.
Just before midnight, everyone took their seats in the window bays ready for the big show to start courtesy of The Mayor of London. At exactly midnight, to see in 2009, the London fireworks display commenced. With fireworks going off in front of the London Eye, Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament as well as all across the city, our special guests all had "the best seats in the house," watching the display from the many window bays in Altitude. The evening was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all the guests and staff involved.
The evening was held once again in memory of Bernard Etzin, who lost his battle to cancer on December 28th 2006. The guests had come to us from hospitals particularly renowned for their cancer research and care units, and we were thrilled to provide the opportunity for them to enjoy a deserved "night off" from the terrific work that they carry out all year round.
We would like to give special thanks to everyone from Altitude, The Royal Marsden Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and The Etzin Foundation who made the evening so special.
We would also like to give special thanks to the following individuals, without whose hard work and dedication the evening would not have been possible:
Justin Etzin (The Etzin Foundation) — The Event Organiser
Karl Tisch and Judith Etzin — The Evening Coordinators
Mr Jacobs — The Altitude Venue Manager
Alex Kersjes — The Altitude Managing Director
