David Walliams and Kate Moss

Little Britain star David Walliams is used to being seen out with a different model each night, so it should come as no surprise that eventually it would be Kate Moss's turn.

And so it was last night as the pair turned up at Altitude 360 on London's Millbank to attend the unveiling of White Light, the latest design by Kates's pal, jeweller Shaun Leane, for De Beers' new diamond brand, Forevermark.

Moss looked as if she was a few days too late for the 'Star Trek' premiere as she sported a futuristic sparkly silver mini-dress with shoulder pads that would have put a 1980s Joan Collins to shame. And, since boyfriend Jamie Hince was away on tour with his band The Kills, the 35-year-old chose Walliams as her chaperone for the evening.

The diamond brooch White Light, a creation of 18-carat white gold and diamond collets, was modelled by supermodel Erin O'Connor for the benefit of guests including Pam Hogg, Anthony and Emily Oppenheimer, Roland Mouret and Sienna Miller's sister Savannah.

As well as creating his own jewellery, Shaun has also worked with Alexander McQueen, Daphne Guinness, Sam Taylor-Wood and Sarah Jessica Parker. As well as Kate, he counts Jennifer Lopez, Sir Elton John, Cameron Diaz, Gwen Stefani and Bjork amongst his famous clients.

Kate and David then moved on to dine at London's Nobu Berkeley restaurant before descending on Movida nightclub where they whiled the night away with star pals such as Noel Fielding, Rhys Ifans, Jo Wood and Fran Cutler.
